Finally!

What haven’t I done to understand what life really is!
At times, I searched for different kinds of feelings, and at other times, I ran away from them. The purpose was simple: to enjoy life, keeping it free from pain. During this time, I travelled freely across the earth—whether necessary or unnecessary, it never mattered much. I also journeyed through time, willingly or unwillingly. And the more I travelled through time, the more I realised—this path is limited, unlike the vastness of the physical world.

Interestingly, travelling the earth sometimes brought boredom or fatigue. But I don’t recall feeling the same while travelling through time. Even more comforting than time travel, however, was travelling through feelings. I first discovered this kind of travel through music. But the trouble was, while exploring feelings guided by music, I often lost my way—it became impossible to say where I began and where I ended up.

The point is—life is a journey. But not just any journey confined to the physical world. This journey takes us from one dimension to another—and then another. It’s like a staircase—rhythmic, yet complex. Where the traveller ends up depends largely on the path they choose. But merely choosing the path isn’t enough. To move in the right direction, one must keep their eyes fixed on the ultimate destination. It’s important to ask oneself: Where do I want to go? This question is not just crucial for finding the path—it’s even more essential for maintaining balance along the way.

As a child, I began life in search of joy. From there came the search for roots, followed by a quest for safety and certainty. Then one day, as I looked beyond my small world towards a larger destination, I realised—there’s no need to panic. Life is a rhythmic journey. If we don’t burden it with unnecessary pressure or blocks, it will flow on in its own way. And this life does not end with death. Death is merely a small segment of life—not its final edge.

In the end, what I’ve learned—at least so far—is that the most important part of life is the destination, and keeping our eyes on it is the most meaningful and exciting part of the journey. Along the way, joy, sorrow, illness, grief, success, failure—and much more—will come and go. But without becoming overwhelmed or overly thrilled, we must keep our eyes on the destination and trust the journey—until we arrive.
