Working to navigate life with meaning, clarity and confidence.
With a background in psychiatry, public health, education, research, and business, I focus on facing life’s complex challenges and transitions. Whether we’re working through personal decisions, professional growth, or organisational change, we need the space for open conversation and reflection—grounded in lived experience and human understanding.
About Me

I’m Samir, a former faculty member and consultant in psychiatry who now lives in New Zealand. My career has been shaped by decades of working with people in healthcare, research and education—supporting mental well-being, guiding students and professionals, and helping others navigate and plan for life’s complex challenges. I’ve also studied business, which deepened my understanding of people-centred leadership and organisational change.
While I no longer offer clinical services or professional supervision, I can provide thoughtful, experience-based conversations that support reflection, clarity, and growth. If you want to know more about me, just Google my full name, “Mohammad Samir Hossain!”
How I Can Support Others
I can offer thoughtful, respectful conversations grounded in diversified real-life experience. I cannot provide therapy or clinical services, but rather space to reflect, talk things through, and find clarity in a supportive, culturally sensitive environment about:
- Life transitions (career changes, migration, relationships, retirement)
- Emotional well-being and resilience in daily life
- Settling into life in a new environment
- Coping with stress, burnout, or being overwhelmed
- Navigating uncertainty and complex decisions
- Communication challenges or planning for self-improvement
- Grief, loss, or thoughts around death and dying
- Mental health literacy—understanding and talking about mental well-being
- Leadership, workplace dynamics, or team relationships
- Human-focused change management in organisations
- Guidance for healthcare professionals, educators, and all kinds of trailblazers
I care for a space for open, non-judgmental conversation. I love helping others find the right direction for themselves.
